🔥 Fire Ops 2025 – Leadership in Action! 🔥
Back in September, AH Mayor Tinaglia, Village Board and Village of Arlington Heights leadership joined our members for L3105 Fire Ops 2025, getting a firsthand look at what it takes to be a firefighter. 👨🚒🚒
From pulling hose lines to climbing ladders and operating in full gear under live-fire conditions, they experienced the physical and mental challenges that come with protecting our community.
We truly appreciate the Mayor and Village leaders for stepping into our world and gaining a deeper understanding of the work Arlington Heights firefighters do every day. Their participation and support mean a great deal to our members and the community we proudly serve. ❤️💪

Thank you to everyone in the community who came out to the Village’s Open House today! Your support and engagement mean a great deal to our members and make events like this truly special.
As the day wrapped up, our crews respectfully lowered and folded the large American flag that was proudly displayed throughout the event. We’re proud to share those moments in the photos below as a tribute to our traditions and the community we serve.

Outstanding Stroke Care Recognition 🏅
The Arlington Heights Firefighters Association would like to recognize Firefighter/Paramedic Lindgren and Firefighter/Paramedic Prestel for being honored by Endeaver Health for their outstanding prehospital stroke care.
Their quick assessment, critical interventions, and coordinated teamwork resulted in the positive outcome and recovery of a patient suffering an intracranial hemorrhage. FF/PM Lindgren and FF/PM Prestel are the first recipients of this new award, highlighting the exceptional prehospital care delivered by the men and women of the Arlington Heights Fire Department.
We would also like to thank Endeavor Health Northwest Community Hospital, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, for their partnership and commitment to excellence in patient care.

The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members – and IAFF members only – who are struggling with addiction, PTSD other related behavioral health challenges to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.
