Thank you to United for inviting and including members of the Arlington Heights Firefighters Association Local 3105 in today’s September 11th Remembrance Ceremony at the United Network Operations Center.
We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside our fellow first responders, Village officials, United employees, and members of the community as we honored the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and all those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.
It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful tribute.
We will never forget.

Today, the Arlington Heights Firefighters Association Local 3105 pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We honor the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with the law enforcement officers, pilots, flight attendants, and civilian heroes who lost their lives that day.
We also remember those who responded in the days, weeks, and months that followed, many of whom later lost their lives to illnesses related to their service at Ground Zero.
Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness remain an enduring example for all who serve.
We will never forget.
