The Arlington Heights Firefighters Association Local 3105 hockey team came away with a hard-fought 6–4 victory over the Elgin Association of Firefighters, IAFF Local 439 today at the Project Fire Buddies hockey fundraiser.
Most importantly, today was about supporting an incredible cause. Project Fire Buddies continues to make a real difference in the lives of children battling serious illness, and we are proud to be part of an event that brings firefighters and the community together for them.
Great work by both teams, and thank you to everyone who came out to support the event.

The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members – and IAFF members only – who are struggling with addiction, PTSD other related behavioral health challenges to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.
