This week, the members of Arlington Heights Firefighters Association Local 3105 had the honor of celebrating Engineer Ed Weiler and his retirement following 35 years of dedicated service.
During yesterday’s retirement luncheon and today’s walkout ceremony, active and retired members of Local 3105 joined alongside Ed’s family to recognize an incredible career spent serving the Arlington Heights community and mentoring generations of firefighters.
Ed’s knowledge, leadership, and steady presence have left a lasting mark on this department and our membership. While retirement marks the end of a remarkable career, the impact he had on those he worked beside will continue for many years to come.
Congratulations, Ed, and thank you for everything you gave to this job, this department, and this union. Enjoy your well earned retirement.
