Calls for Service 2025
As EMS Week comes to a close, the Arlington Heights Fire Department would like to thank all of our firefighter/paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, hospital partners, and healthcare professionals who work together every day to provide emergency medical care to our community.
Emergency medical services are a critical part of the fire service and often represent some of the most challenging and meaningful calls we respond to. From medical emergencies and traumatic injuries to cardiac arrests and critical patient care, our crews are committed to providing compassionate, professional, and advanced care whenever our community calls for help.
In 2025 alone, AHFD responded to 8,993 EMS incidents as part of our 11,641 total calls for service. Behind every one of those calls is a team of highly trained professionals dedicated to helping others on what may be one of the worst days of their lives.
Thank you to our residents for your continued trust and support, and thank you to all EMS providers for your dedication to serving others.

Some of the best moments in the fire service are the connections we make with our community.
Today, AHFD firefighters had the opportunity to give two Riley Elementary students a ride to school and we enjoyed every minute of it.
We’re grateful for opportunities like these to create lasting memories and connect with the families we proudly serve.
Thank you Riley Elementary School!
