Today, our Local had the privilege of welcoming two new Brothers into the Arlington Heights Fire Department family.
Congratulations to Probationary Firefighter Andrew Mertes (Badge #270) and Probationary Firefighter Quinn Krawiec (Badge #271) on being sworn in as the newest members of the Arlington Heights Fire Department.
The badge numbers they received today represent far more than a place on the roster. They represent a commitment to serving our community, supporting one another, and carrying forward the proud tradition of those who have worn the Arlington Heights Fire Department uniform before them.
Their journey is just beginning. Next, they will attend the fire academy before returning to Arlington Heights to continue learning and growing throughout their probationary year. We know they have a challenging and rewarding road ahead, and we look forward to watching them develop into outstanding firefighters and union Brothers.
From all of us at the Arlington Heights Firefighters Association IAFF Local 3105, welcome to the Brotherhood.
